I’ve been eagerly awaiting Winter to go away so that we could set our patio back up, and the time is finally here! While everything else is staying pretty much the same as last year, I did change out the rug which added a big dose of color.
Fab Habitat offered to let me try one of their rugs, and I was instantly drawn to this one. So many great colors—especially when my patio furniture is brown with tan cushions. If there’s anywhere to use bold color, outdoor spaces are it. This rug is reversible, and I ended up using the side with the red background.
(I kept the mirror green, but changed up the garden stools to this deep blue—Deep Sea Diving by Valspar.)
The rug is actually made of woven straws made from recycled plastic, but it’s still a soft (almost “squishy") texture. It’s also washable, which could be great for a high traffic area in the house, as well.
Are you making any changes to your outdoor space this year?
PS—Thanks to Fab Habitat for supplying the rug :)
