sour patch grapes

Found this “how to” on Pinterest for making sour patch grapes.  I’m going to give it a try, even though I’m a little hesitant after the gummy worm experience. . .

DIY Anthropologie style flower vase via Less Than Perfect Life of Bliss blog

Julie gives step by step directions on how to replicate this Anthropologie vase by melting and painting plastic spoons. Honestly, I just think it would be fun to melt some spoons.

(By the way, this was one of the submissions for the Working With What You Have link party. I’m working my way through reading every single one of them.  Keep them coming!  Link up ends on Thursday.)

The recovered green ottomans are coming in very handy as baby gates these days.  It’s getting harder and harder to keep up with my little fuzzy heads.  (Something about this picture reminds me of Bert and Ernie.)

Have a great weekend,

  13. Awww, love the Bert and Ernie anology - perfect! I also can't believe those are melted spoons. I think if I attempted that, they would look like melted spoons instead of a flower :(

  20. As soon as I saw pic #5, I thought, "Hey! How funny--I totally pinned the same project earlier this week." And THEN I remembered I pinned it via your link-up party and realized that what I orginally thought was an amazing coincidence actually made perfect sense. : D

Thanks for being a blogging inspiration!

  21. I just love those fuzzy heads. I have a 12.5 month old with very similar wispy hair and she refuses to keep a clip
    In it

  26. #1 is so perfect. I agree with all her points completely. In our 20s my husband and I were so excited to buy nice quality furniture suites for our living room and bedroom. In my 30s I was so happy to replace them with mix and match pieces purchased from various places, of various styles, and of various eras. So much better!
