Lane gives us a little look at a client project she’s been working on recently. I love her laid-back casual style. I also kind of love that she went against the grain and used a turquoise sofa.

Sometimes, it’s the little changes that make the biggest difference. Janell gave a basic side table a completely different look with a little gold Rub ‘n Buff, primer and paint.

Holly just opened her online shop this week. It’s a beautiful extension of the rooms she creates.
I just discovered this pretty guest bedroom makeover (and her blog) this week. Where have I been?

Giant paper flowers (found here). Cute idea for a party. Interesting idea for a girl’s room…
And, in the fastest renovation ever, our new den/playroom is finished! Although we can technically move their toys in there now, the babies are thrilled with the floor space :)
Enjoy your weekend,

I can't believe you're already done with the play room! I feel like I just read about your plans. I can't wait to see more pictures. I bet the kids are going to love it!
ReplyDeleteI love this series - so interesting and eclectic and fun! And those babies - SWOON! So cute and crawly and talky! They are growing up so fast.
ReplyDeleteCrawly & talky is the perfect way to describe them :)
DeleteI know ths is a "design blog" but I sure do love it when you share your family with us! The twins are ADORABLE. One of the best parts of your designs is seeing how your family actually lives with them :) Can't wait to see what you do with the new den.

ReplyDeleteGreat to see your twins in action and how quickly you're able to put ideas into fruition! So wish you had time for interior design consulting. Congrats though on all that you do! I have an idea bubbling and will reach out to see what you think I think it might be doable and fruitful with your time constraints. :) My luck it's already been done. ...your loyal follower in Myers Park.

Thanks so much for the feature Emily! I'm catching up after being out of town and you made my day. There are so many other great links too. Also, the babies are adorable! There's nothing better than that excited baby squeal. And don't you just love that a giant empty room can provide that much joy? I love how they are so excited they kind of don't know what to do and are just moving all around. Precious.
ReplyDeleteThanks again!
