Great post! What clever ideas! i hope you continue to have post like this! I love getting a glimpse how other people decorate and organize their home!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! Hey, I have a question. Does anyone have an attractive way that they store and dispense liquid dish soap?
ReplyDeleteI have just found some attractive pump containers at Home Goods, Target, or Container Store and refill those. There are pretty stainless and glass ones available as well as plastic.
DeleteGood luck!

Thanks for including my tip. These are all really great ideas - love the lazy susan in the refrigerator. And I really need to find a place to put important phone numbers for babysitters.
ReplyDeleteI love the lazy susan in the refrigerator idea. Thanks for sharing my tip!
ReplyDeleteBest thing I did when the granite countertops were installed was to have an extra hole drilled for a soap dispenser. Easy to fill and no unsightly bottle on display!
ReplyDeleteGood idea! Wish I had thought of that. I will remember when we move to our next house. Thanks!
DeleteThanks for including my tip, Emily! I love the idea about putting all of the kids utensils/plates etc in a drawer where they can reach. So simple but it make so much sense!
ReplyDeleteThanks for including my tip! I loved seeing how other people solve the same problem we all have...spices crammed in cabinets, knick knacks shoved in drawers. My favorite was the Belkin IPad mount. So brilliant even my husband would get on board!
ReplyDeleteThank you for including my tip! I'm very honoured to have my name appear on your blog!! They're all great tips! If I had drawers I'd definitely be changing where my kids dishes go.
ReplyDeletelove the trash can on wheels!!! i'm always needing to pull it this way and that!
ReplyDeleteIt really is the simplest things that make the most impact. I love the ipad holder and I am going out today to buy an extra set of measuring cups. One going into the oatmeal, one going into the rice and one going into the lentils. Brilliant! These are all great tips and I'm inspired to get on top of the junk drawer now. Thanks Emily!
ReplyDeleteWonderful ideas! Next time I will share some of mine. :-)
ReplyDeleteAll of these are so fantastic! What a great idea to have everyone pitch in :)I will go back to this post for a reminder when I am in an organizing kichen mood ;-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday!

Love this post! I'm kind of a fool for anything that has to do with organization! :)
ReplyDeleteThese were great tips -- I especially liked the idea of labeling the tops of spice bottles so you easily see what you need without having to pull out each one.
Thanks for sharing!
What a great post and lots of helpful ideas! Like Jen, we have a junk drawer (the one filled with extra keys, pencils, flashlights, etc) that is always a mess until we started using the plastic containers fom lunch meat (like Tupperware but cheaper!) to organize. Each has a purpose (school, scouts, electronics, keys) and my kids get their allowance to keep it clean!
ReplyDeleteWow, these are great tips! I especially like the labeled lids on the spices - so easy. I hate digging through my spices to find the one I need.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the midst of office organization for now, but my next task will have to be the kitchen now that I have all these great ideas. Thanks for the post (and thanks to the contributors for the tips)!
Such great tips! I need to incorporateore of these in the kitchen and pantry. Thanks for including me Emily!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! I'm an organization geek too! Thank you for compiling this list.
ReplyDeleteThanks for featuring my tip! I love the ipad idea- I need to try that one!
