Food on the Wall

Chris Barrett via House Beautiful

If you’re lucky enough to have a little wall (or shelf) space in your kitchen, I recently came across some beautiful food photography on Etsy.  I love the soft colors and organic feel of these prints.  They would look great in a grouping, or you could frame a single one to lean on a countertop to distract from a blah backsplash:

Do you use artwork in your kitchen?

  3. I love art in the kitchen and in every room in the house. I like surprises in unexpected places, like under the cabinets. These are beautiful pictures Emily.

  4. There's a different kind of food on my wall - dried ketchup finger prints, chocolate smears, this looks much nicer :)

  5. These are beautiful pictures, but hanging food pics in a kitchen is both too obvious and too "restaurant-y" for me.

  6. Yes, I use artwork in the kitchen. In our former house I used a photograph I took of oranges in a glass bowl. It actually won an award in the still life category. So I can honestly say "I'm an award-winning photographer." Haha! Actually I do much better with still life and architectural than people.
