  4. What a great mom...that looks like a lot of fun! The one who painted the chevron pattern must be an aspiring designer. :)

  7. my children love to carve (with a lot of help from Mom), and even with uneven eyes, and giantic mouths their pumpkins are precious and it's been a tradition since I was child. I love the fall, pumpkins, ALL of it. Your pumpkin painting looks like big fun and I bet there were lots of wonderful memories were made.

    Have a wonderful Fall,

  9. I love your idea. My son, sniff, is 11 and just started middle school, so carefree days like these are now filled with homework, and quizzes and tests, oh my!!!
Savor this time and the fun mess! Getting kids to touch paint is a so important, my son didn't want to naturally get messy, he had to allow himself this option and learn it was ok. He was the kid in art class with the white smock and 3 very carefully chosen shapes on the paper while I stood in the back and looking through my bohemian art major eyes, sayin' "ut oh, he has his engineer Daddy's idea of free expression"...good for you, you're a good Mom to do this mess with no stress project, it so matters that we let them be free to explore and have fun!
    Have a great Fall!
