Customizing a Chair Without Reupholstering

I’ve always loved the look of upholstery with one big stripe down the middle.  And, it’s even better when you don’t have to pay the price of actually having something reupholstered. 

 

Stacy of South Shore Decorating gave her simple white living room chairs a custom look by using a piece of fabric, fabric glue and some nail heads:

These simple and inexpensive slipper chairs from Target would work perfectly:
