Fluffing with Flowers

Thought you might enjoy seeing some of the pretty flowers that my friend Carey (who happens to be a really talented wedding and event floral designer) brought over last week in an effort to “fluff” my house for a little photo shoot for a local newspaper.

You know my love of orchids, so we ditched the fake and dying ones that I had for some fresh ones.

She also brought several succulents—a.k.a “the trendy flower of the moment”.  (She said she’s even started having brides request succulent bouquets.)

And, some pretty hydrangea blooms that she left for me to enjoy :)

  4. All so pretty. And another photo shoot . . girl you are super woman. My kiddos like to fluff our home with flowers picked from their walks to the park. Just doesn't quite have the same effect ;)

  8. Pretty. That's exactly what my house needs right now. Maybe I can at least start with succulents. That way, I also get a piece of Phoenix (where we moved from). I want to see the rest of your house! :)

  9. Pretty. I killed my orchid....I am searching for a fake one now. Maybe I should get succulent - I think I can keep those alive!

What I noticed was that cute brass bell on your desk, my kids {even though there are teens} would be hitting that bell all the time!

Hope life with 5 kids is treating you well!
