This giveaway is now closed.

The last month of  this twin pregnancy hasn’t exactly made me feel like Polly Sunshine.  So, when these arrived at my door yesterday, it was a nice surprise:

Although my husband tried to take the credit, I was actually selected by Kristin of My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia as one of her “Pay It Forward for Mother’s Day” picks to receive a bouquet from the Better Homes & Gardens line on FTD.com

FTD and Better Homes and Gardens have partnered together to offer an exclusive collection of fresh flower arrangements.  The collection features “Editors’ Choice” arrangements, designed by Better Homes and Gardens editors. For Mother’s Day, all Better Homes and Gardens Flowers by FTD® come with an additional gift for mom: a free one-year subscription to Better Homes and Gardens.

  1. The best thing about my mom is that she taught me how to love Jesus, family, and friends.

  2. The best thing about my mom is her courage. She was a single mom to three kids and struggled to make ends meet, but she ALWAYS gave us all of the love, laughter, and food we needed. I really admire the courage it must have taken to be living paycheck to paycheck but always figuring out a way to make it work. She never complained, just put her nose to the grindstone and figured it out. She is really an inspiration to me. Unfortunately, she just lost her job last week so I know she could really use some flowers to brighten her day!

  3. The best thing about my mom was that she filled the void when my dad worked too much, a friend didn't show up, or a boy broke my heart. She was amazing growing up, she still is.

  7. The best thing about my mom is her loving and willing spirit. She is always there for my brother and I even if it's 3am in the morning. She is the only reason I made it through the first few weeks after giving birth to my daughter. She sacrifices herself and is an awesome Christian example of a mother.

  22. Let me just take a moment to tell you that I have the most amazing mother on the planet. Of course she is my mother, but I wouldn't trade her for all the world. If I could have hand-picked a mother, I wouldn't have been able to pick a better one. My momma is so many things: intelligent, caring, compassionate, hard-working, selfless, beautiful, patient, kind, generous, forgiving, devoted, and my WHOLE world! (among many other things) I don't know how I could make it through a full week without the listening ear and wise advice that my momma gives. With my family being in Florida I have to settle with the e-mails and phone calls for 90% of the year, but those moments when we can be together are priceless to me.My momma is the embodiment of the woman, wife, and mother that I strive to be daily. I try to drink up everything I can learn from her any chance I get. If I can be 1/10th of the woman my mother is to me, then I will be successful. Can you tell I love my momma??

  24. Aww I love this. Knowing my mom will probably go to comment here, it's like getting to leave her a hidden note of thanks.

My mom is the nicest most selfless person I know. A true trait of mothers, I gather, but she is so warm and wonderful that sometimes when I'm on the brink of something brewing deep inside, just hearing her voice will pull the tears from me like a magnetic force. Shes always been there for me, even when I didnt deserve it. I love my mom.

Happy mothers day to all of you moms. You deserve more than only a day to celebrate your gifts to us!
