Are you all watching the new show Interiors Inc. on HGTV? It follows the design firm Pierce & Co. located in Nashville, Tennessee. Although a lot of the nitty-gritty details are left out of the design process (budgets, problems, difficult clients, etc.), I do enjoy watching their plans come to fruition, and their work is really well done.

(This is the episode where they designed a new place for LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian. Don’t get me started. Their apartment turned out really nice, though. . .)
Here are a few portfolio shots from their web site:
And, while I was googling Pierce & Co. to find out more about them, I discovered that the firm’s owner, Jonathan, was a Christian recording artist in the nineties. Interesting. . .
Have you seen the show? What do you think about it?

I have not seen the show (and wouldn't watch the episode with LeeAnn & Eddie - don't get me started too) But I will have to check my 'local listings' and DVR it! Thanks for the heads up. Enjoy your Tuesday - Jalon
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it, but I'll have to add it to my DVR queue!
ReplyDeleteYeah...LeAnn & Eddie...yuck. Don't get me started either. lol. I have not seen or even heard of the show. I have to see if my silly cable company even shows it. Thanks & hope you're feeling as great as you look!
ReplyDeleteWill look for the show. Sounds interesting and the rooms are really well done from what you've shown.
ReplyDelete(we're in unspoken agreement about Leanne and Eddie, just f.y.i.)

Havent heard of this show! Will have to tune in. And i so remember Jonathan Pierces music- too funny!
ReplyDeleteI love this show! The before and afters are amazing! I like seeing them search through the fabrics and talk about why they put things where they put them. Yeah... don't get me started on LeAnn and Eddie either! :(
ReplyDeleteI have seen it a few times and really enjoyed it. Seems most times when I turn on HGTV these days it's marathon episodes of House Hunters or Property Virgins and most I've seen numerous times.
ReplyDeleteI have been watching the show-I agree, it is a welcome relief from House Hunters! I like the photos you showed from their website better than anything I've seen on the show. The interiors seem very formal and impersonal on the show. The photos you show seem much more organic and interesting.
ReplyDeleteThat apartment is beautiful! Interesting note about the Christian recording artist thing....
ReplyDeleteI must be living under a rock, don't know a thing about LeAnn and Eddie ! I will check out the show though.....
ReplyDeleteI love that show. There designs are so gorgeous and I love what they produce. Just this weekend my mom was saying if she could have anyone decorate her home it would be them!
ReplyDeleteIt's refreshing to see a "no drama" decorating show...you know minus the happy screaming and arguing!
ReplyDeleteI have seen this show and really like it. I don't "love" a lot of the design shows on HGTV but like this one...maybe it's their southern accents. ;) Guess I'm out of the loop because I have NO idea what the deal is with Leanne and Eddie. =/ I think I like it that way though. ;) I remember the song, but who knew it was the same guy? Cool. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I haven't seen it! One more show to add to the DVR. And I agree, let's not get started on LeAnn & Eddie!
ReplyDeleteI DVR'd the show but tired of it quickly and fast forwarded to the end reveal.
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen it yet - but will definitely DVR it. Thanks for the tip.
ReplyDeleteOH I LOVE that show. They do lovely work and I adore a TN accent :) The one designer, Katie, on that show looks so familiar??? Was she on something else at sometime? Maybe I am just crazy!! And UGH LeeAnn...NO WORDS...well no nice ones!!
ReplyDeleteI have watched it Emily.....they are a talented bunch.....
ReplyDeleteLOve their work....and I though he looked familiar....saw him with the Gaithers years ago!
ReplyDeleteI love this show. I love their design style and that they show a fairly realistic portrayal of the design process {with yes, leaving out some of the key factors!}. I try to catch it every Saturday! ~gina
ReplyDeleteEmily - I have been watching and I kinda like it. I initially thought their creations were pretty meh, and some of their makeovers/renos were underwhelming, but it offers a great counter balance to something super high falutin like Million Dollar Decorators. So I like it. And its so cool to see what different people interpret for their clients, so I always love watching things come to life.
ReplyDeleteI didnt see the one on LeeAnn and Eddie. Just one thing, though, because it's bothersome when I'm in line at the grocery. Can she stop wearing string bikinis? I'm sick of seeing her muscles and bones jut out.

I almost skipped the post just because of the photo with LeAnn. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteNot my favorite of the design shows. Don't like their rooms too much and the designers have NO personality whatsoever. It's all just BLAH. (Why do all the male designers on the show have the same silly hairstyle?)
ReplyDeleteI do watch the show because I'm an HGTV junkie, but I think they are not good TV personalities. I love seeing the spaces finished, but sometimes watch it on mute :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if that show is on here in Canada? I am tired of the blah lineup we have here at HGTV Canada. I think they execs need to hire a few design bloggers to spruce things up!
ReplyDeleteAs for the LeeAnn and Eddie, I must have my head in the sand regarding those two....
I haven't seen the shown Emily but will look for it. Looks like they did a great job with LeAnn Rimes's home. Not a fan but I won't go there.
ReplyDeleteThe only episode I've seen was the one with LeeAnn. Maybe that's why I didn't care for the show?! I actually thought it was boring. I started watching HGTV with Million Dollar Decorators. With all that personality and gorgeousness maybe other shows just can't stand up!
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched the show yet, but Ben Vandiver was my piano teacher! It's such a small world. He can rock on the keys! He's amazingly talented!!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen it yet. I use to check to see what was on HGTV but over the past few years not so much, mostly real estate shows. I will have to check it out!!
ReplyDeleteKathysue
Have to add it to my DVR schedule:) The zebra x-benches are very cool! I'd like a set!! Love following your blog!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen this one but I am excited to check it out. I have been hoping HGTV would add more design shows back. So far based on the photos you posted I like what I see.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up!
I have never seen the show. I may have to tune in and check it out. I'm not a big fan of LeAnn either, but I do love her new place.
ReplyDeleteohhh I love that stacked ball lamp!
ReplyDeleteI've watched it and am just in awe at the design talent some people have! Its a nice addition to the HGTV lineup. Didn't know Jonathan was a Christian recording artist.
ReplyDeleteI've been watching this show from day one and I love it!
ReplyDeleteI have been watching and enjoying this show. Yes I remember Jonathan in his "previous life". Saw him in concert many times before he decided to make a lifestyle and career change.
ReplyDeleteI remember this song!
ReplyDeleteI've been watching.... I do miss the nitty gritty details a little bit, but I always love the reveals at the end. Interesting about the 90's music artist! How funny!
