I just completed my most recent ideabook for Houzz. Since our own house has been all abuzz with basketball lately, I decided to put together a list of fun products that I might use if I were decorating a designated man room. . .It’s fun to dream, right?

One of the items I included was this navy Chesterfield sofa. It’s just $999 (and a loveseat option is available, as well). A similar version first caught my eye in this month’s Country Living. I just liked the whole feel of this room:
This is definitely not a man cave, but isn’t it a great, collected space?
Check out my ideabook here.

Beautiful room. Love the couch!
ReplyDeleteBlue chesterfield would be perfect for a man cave! Can't wait to check out your houzz feature!
ReplyDeletei TOTALLY love that couch also....i wish i could trade out the leather couch we already have for THAT one!
ReplyDeleteI loved that space in Country Living. Chesterfield sofas are one of my favorites and would work great in a 'man' cave! And it is definitely basketball central around here too! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the Chesterfield, too!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw that couch the other day, I was literally trying to think of where I could squeeze it in my tiny house. Love that find!

Gorgeous! Very masculine, but tasteful and elegant enough for us 'womens' to love! :)
ReplyDeleteI have never used navy in my own home decor...but lately it has been catching my eye alot! I have always loved that chesterfield couch in brown...the navy one is even better! Perfect for the (wo)man cave!
ReplyDeleteI saw this room in Country Living and fell in love with that chesterfield. I was surprised that the price was so reasonable. beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI saw that sofa on the front cover of Home Decorators recently too. I was really wishing they offered it in other colors-could you imagine that in a cream?
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing I love more than a well worn leather chesterfield. It's somehow uber-masculine and effortless at the same time. Great post.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the side table and ottoman! Perfect for a nursery I am helping put together! Great finds! :)

I am so glad to see this picture. My husband received a very expensive blue leather recliner as a gift from his grandparents when we married 12 years ago. He won't part with it, and I've never felt it fit with the rest of our neutral furniture. This aces me feel better about the blue being ok with the otherwise neutral room.
ReplyDeleteEmily,
ReplyDeleteI was literally just telling one of my clients about this sofa and matching chairs and then I saw them on your posting. I agree! Good price and great looking! We must be soul sisters....
Blue chesterfield?!? Be still my beating heart! My favorite color :) I love that room you posted. Off to check out your feature.
ReplyDeleteReally a great space! Love the sofa and recently came across the same sofa in an antiqued black leather, so wish I could've brought it home. The men in our live do love those sofas!
ReplyDeleteI don't think man spaces are highlighted enough so I'm very happy to see your idea book! And I love that Chesterfield sofa - it's handsome and sexy all at the same time. Man spaces can be good looking which is what your photo proves - hopping over to browse your idea book too.
ReplyDeleteMy friend bought a chesterfield almost identical to this one on Craigslist for a steal. Lucky girl. That room is gorgeous, though you're right, not very manly.
ReplyDeleteI dream of having a chesterfield when we have enough space for a library... *sighs* love them
