Belly Pics: 26 Weeks

Since some of you requested pictures of “the belly”, I thought I would humor you and share these that my mom took while they were visiting this past weekend.

I’m not a fan of pregnant pictures (of myself) because I seem to gain my weight in my belly and my face.  But, my mom insists we have to document this because in her words, I’m “making history” by being the first to have twins in our family.  Alright.  I know they’ll enjoy these years later.

Someone decided that was enough attention for the “other babies”  :)

Had to include this one!  This is what I look like at least once daily when it suddenly hits me (again) that we’re going to have five kids.

Can you believe I still have a good two months of growing to do?  Aaaaggghhh!

  5. You look amazing! Twins, really? Girlfriend I think I looked bigger with my youngest and she isn't a twin! LOL (she was almost 10 lbs at birth though) And, your mom is right...you will appreciate the pictures later.

  6. Something I learned when I was pregnant, the worse I thought I looked, the more compliments I got on how much I "glowed." And you're glowing!

  7. You look fantastic - I'm still not convinced there are twins in there because I swear I was that big with ONE at a time. ;-) You are all belly, and I'm always jealous of women who only seem to gain weight there, versus me, who carries pregnancy weight EVERYWHERE (or more specifically, my butt). ;-) You will be glad to have those pictures later on, so keep 'em coming!

  11. Hi Emily! This is my first time commenting, but I read your blog every day. You have such great style and you're an inspiration to me. I too quit a job I didn't love because I wanted to decorate my house all day every day! Sometimes I think about doing the design consultant thing at Ethan Allen. How did you like that? Your baby bump pics are adorable btw.

  75. You look beautiful! I have twin girls and I got HUGE! My girls were 8 lbs. 7 oz. and 7 lbs. 2 oz.

I was one giant belly! They will be 16 this summer. It goes so fast - enjoy every minute. Oh - and one piece of advice - when one baby wakes to eat - wake the other. Otherwise you will never sleep!
