I recently received a copy of the new coffee table book, Southern Living Style, to review. (I love coffee table books, don’t you? I like being able to go back through them to look for different ideas I didn’t see the first time, and they just make the best tabletop accessories the rest of the time.)
This book is full of Southern style. Its overall feel is traditional, but shows you how to bring in some more modern elements. I marked some of my favorite pages:
The book also highlights several Southern designers, including Jane Scott Hodges, founder of Leontine Linens:
I also like how they break down certain photographs to show you how to recreate the look:
And, my favorites are the vintage furniture pieces that have been recovered/painted for a modern feel:

What a beautiful book! You can never have too many coffee table books. My friends threw me a wedding shower and since I love beautiful books so much it was the theme - they each wrote a note in their book - I love them so much!!!!
