Today, I’m wrapping up my Now & Then series (at least for a little while). Hope you’ve enjoyed it. And, now for the grand finale . . .

Now:
And Then. . .
What makes me cringe when I look back:
The ugly carpeting all over the place along with too many patterns and not enough accessories.
What I love most about my home now:
Oh my gosh....the wood floors of course.
The biggest influence on my evolving style has been:
Probably Elle Decor Magazine. I pick it up every time for inspiration.
…..
Thank you, Jen! She’s obviously always had a great sense of style. I, for one, could live with her “then” picture and be a pretty happy camper! To see more of her home, visit her blog and check out her artwork at Cocoa & Hearts.

Beautiful finale! I love Jen's rich dark floors of the 'now' and the glam accessories.

Oh, I love Jen's style and I also love how talented she is! She's so lovely!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I actually like her "then". Sure, it looks better now, but she had style even then. :-)
Have a sweet day!

Hard to believe she can have a decorating misstep. Her home is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI have LOVED this series (always fun to see how people change their style over the years) and I do hope you bring it back in the future. Loads of fun!
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Jen, though, the wood floors are loads better than the carpet. :-)
Gorgeously chic living room! Bravo Jen. I am sad to see this series come to an end -- it was a great one!
ReplyDeleteSeriously! The before was great but the after is fabulous! Great series! Thanks for sharing!

Her floors are amazing ! I've enjoyed the series, hope you bring it back.
ReplyDeleteJen always has great style, which I totally agree! Both her "then" and "now" looks great as well! I love her sofa back "then" and her wood floors "now".

I love her style! I agree, her "then" wasn't bad at all. But her "now" is amazing. I want that chaise lounge!
ReplyDeleteI hope you do this series again in the future- I love seeing how people's styles have changed. Makes me feel so much better about my past decorating choices! :)

I wanted to comment that her "then" looked really good, but I see that everyone had the same idea! I love the "now" -- she has an incredible eye!
ReplyDeleteThose floors are just beautiful. I love everything about her space.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see you began following me! I love reading your blog - nice to 'meet' ya!

What do you mean, finale? Did you know that sometimes when I redo something in my house I think about what the before pic will look like in Emily's Now and Then feature?
ReplyDeleteI'm sad if she doesn't still have that beautiful sofa from her then pic. I love it so.
Emily. Seriously? Are you joshin' me? I am going to have to do without my weekly "Now...And Then"?? Say it isn't so! This is one of my favorite reads in Blog World! Thanks for putting these posts together. They've been so fun and enjoyable!
ReplyDeleteJen has great style! I love her new place!
ReplyDeleteEven THEN was nice, but NOW is so great!!! Very relaxing space with light colours! Nice job!
