The Current State of My Office

Thought you might like to see what’s in mid-project around here.  I’ve always wanted floor-to-ceiling bookcases in my house, and now that I know we’ve found the house we’re staying in for the long haul, it was one of the first things on my wish list.

I’m going to need to shop for more books once all of the shelving is in . . . . Even if I never have time to read, at least now I’ll look like I do!

Until mine are finished, here are a few of my favorite tall bookcases that I had filed away in my “someday” folder:

  22. I absolutely love that Isabella Lopez Quesada design. I'm still wondering what they did to have such a long run of shelves with no vertical supports except at the ends. The glossy black paint and metallic stripes around the edging are just gorgeous! If I ever do built in floor ceiling cases in my home, I'm showing the carpenter that room! Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to see what your finally look will be. :-)
