Pillows: The Perfect House Warming Gift

I’ve said it before.  There are a lot of nice people in this big blogging world.  And, Kimber of House of Pemberley is one of them.

She is one of my sponsors and when she read that we had moved into our new house, she gave me one of my favorite housewarming presents—a pair of pillows in my choice of fabric (and, she has some great fabrics to choose from, btw).  She even made my assistant, Katie, a pair of imperial trellis pillows for her dining room!

Since I haven’t quite decided on what colors I’m using, I decided that sticking with a black and white would be the most neutral choice.  And, since I’ve loved this La Fiorentina fabric for a while, I ended up with a pair of these beauties:

Although it’s used often, I think it’s a classic, graphic print that mixes beautifully with other patterns and with lots of different styles.  Here are some of my favorite La Fiorentina-infused rooms:

Want your own?  I know someone who can hook you up.  (Thanks again, Kimber.)

  2. LOVE that print, so bold and rad. It's hard to choose when you have everything to choose from and I hate that I always feel pressure to do something 'new'. I'm learning to just pick what I love. What a lovely sponsor!! Definitely makes me want to click. :-)

  14. We haven't moved but I am also starting fresh. I went with neutrals for the larger pieces and so far it has been black and white for pillows and rugs. I like this pattern too and didn't know what it was called. Loved the image with the green dresser. Pinned it. :0 Thanks for the inspiration.

  17. The pillow fabric you chose actually complemented the whole interior design of the house! I love the simplicity of your interior design. You see I'm a minimalist, and when I get a new house, I'd like to proceed with a housewarming too!
