I got several inquires after yesterday's post about my navy rug in our living room. (I got no questions about the rug in our last house. . .Go figure!) I've mentioned it a few other times, but it's the chain link rug that was available from Pottery Barn several years ago.
Unfortunately, it seems hard to come by these days. It used to be pretty easy to find on Ebay. After a quick Google search, I found one source here. (Disclaimer: I've never ordered through this site.) Good luck! If anybody else knows where to find one, please leave a link in the comments.

ReplyDeleteHi Emily! I got the same rug- same price- same size- last summer before I moved into my apartment. Do you find that it needs to be vacuumed a lot? And that it "sheds" a lot into the vacuum when you clean it? Just wondering if another person is having the same issues I am. I love it but the next time I move I think It's going to go in an area with less foot traffic- the thing sheds like mad! I guess beauty/ style involves sacrifice sometimes though :)

ReplyDeleteI too have the same rug, though mine is in the dining room. Mine sheds like crazy also, and I find I have to use the beater brush on my vaccum(against PB's instructions) or the shedding and other incidental dirt doesnt come up. How are you caring for yours Emily, because it seems to be in great shape and doesnt show the same level of shedding I see on mine.

ReplyDeleteFor those of you who asked about the shedding. . . I haven't had a terrible problem with it. I really don't vacuum it all that often :) and have had mine for a couple of years now. There was some shedding in the beginning but very little now.
