Happy? Mother's Day

I always insist on a Mother's Day picture with my kids each year.

What I envision:

What I get:

(Yes, I did just post that picture of myself.  Because, at the end of the day, you've just gotta laugh.  Happy Mother's Day to my sweet mom and all of you out there who can perfectly relate to this photo.)

  1. Ha! Love it. I only have one, who is a total ham, so my issue is usually trying to figure out how to nicely tell my child to stop smiling in a dementedly happy way. But there are certainly worse things!

  17. Haha! I'm laughing! The more children you have, the harder it is to get a good picture I've realized. It used to stress me out, but now I've gotten used to it and just go with whatever shots we can get. Hope your MD was fabulous.
