A Desk Makeover on a Dime

Today on the Goodwill blog, I'm sharing a project courtesy of my kids' babysitter (she obviously has skills beyond keeping my three monkeys in line!).

See how she transformed a cozy corner in her room from this. . .

To this. . . with a few cans of spray paint and a very productive trip to her local Goodwill:

  23. Ok after many months of reading your blog i have decided to take the plunge and paint some furniture. do you suggest a certain finish when you are painting dressers, beds, desks?
do you prefer brush strokes, or using a sprayer?
I am in raleigh, we are closing on our big, blank house today and I have a lot of work today. I wish I could have you come over to raleigh
    thanks
