I recently wrote about quick and easy holiday tabletop ideas in our local
Gaston Alive! Magazine, and thought I would post some of the photos I took for the article. I shared my best ideas on affordable ways anyone can add festive touches to their Christmas dinner table. Read the full article

What's your best idea for an inexpensive, last-minute holiday centerpiece?
I did a beautiful arrangement in my entryway at the beginning of the season (I posted about it on my blog), but it did not last. So, I replaced it with a simple

I'll add holiday elements to exising pieces. In a year-round topiary, I stick in bows, ribbons and poinsettia blossoms; in a vase of natural sticks, I will add some glittery ones; and we have some mini Santa hats that came off of bottles of Bailey's that find themselves topping everday decor.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the first image. I'm having some girlfriends (and their b) over for brunch the morning after Christmas and will be pulling together a last minute centerpiece of my own!

Glass hurricanes and or vases filled with shiny ornaments. This year I have gold, silver, and red...so festive! So easy!
ReplyDeleteBecause I have them laying all over the place, my inexpensive centerpiece would be ornaments and candles.

ReplyDeleteloving that last idea
ReplyDeleteThat article is great, very helpful. I like the candy cane jar idea best!
ReplyDeleteI have to [shamefully] admit that my current centerpiece is a basket of paper napkins :(
ReplyDeleteI love those silvery looking ornaments - are they mercury glass? Beautiful as always!
So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI think homemade ginger bread houses are not only fun to make (especially for the kids!) and make cute table decorations too!
So beautiful! I can't get enough of twigs and berries this time of year... or any time of year, really, but they look absolutely fantastic with all of your Christmas decorations!
