After an incredibly hot summer here in Charlotte, fall can't come soon enough for me. My favorite season, I love when I start catching glimpes that it's almost here. This past weekend, my parents brought some fall apples when they came to visit, and I am starting to be able to hear the high school football games and bands on Friday nights from my house. It's the little things that get me excited :)
I also love studying the Pottery Barn catalog for fall decorating ideas. I think they do a great job of seasonal decorating (by bringing in a lot of natural elements) without going overboard:
Have you started incorporating fall into your home yet? If so, I would love for you to share your best ideas or pictures on
my Facebook page.
Beautiful! I love the coming of fall....my husband wants to buy pumpkins already..ha!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, you made me CRAVE fall. I went to the farm today for produce, and was so tempted to buy pumpkins. I am trying to restrain myself until we are at least into September.
ReplyDeleteThe leaves and pumpkins are so nice and warm. I can't wait!
Love fall too! Pumpkins, apples, etc.
ReplyDeleteDrop by, there is a pillow giveaway on my blog!

I can definitely relate Emily -- I am SO happy it's September and the promise of cooler weather is not far off! And I echo your sentiments on PB; their seasonal decorating is always my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThese pics definitely get me in the mood for fall. Especially those apples....mmmmm apple pie!
ReplyDeleteI am SO READY for Fall too! I also picked up a Pottery Barn catalog for inspiration! I had no idea you are in Charlotte-I am in Greensboro and am also tired of this 90 degree weather!
ReplyDeleteI am clearly in the minority - I don't like fall because that just means winter is coming. Actually, I dread fall but when it comes it's ok because I love Halloween! That said, I have started collecting some fall stuff and am planning a big attic clean out so I can get a full handle on what other stuff I have.
