Do you see how happy he is that I'm going to be there?
It all started several months ago when these girls started a Twitter campaign to get design bloggers to his show, and the producers listened. I received my invitation Monday and tried to stay calm.
Yeah, that didn't last long. I immediately called my husband at work and he started checking flights. He says I don't give him enough "shout outs" on my blog, so let me stop here and say, I have a very, very sweet husband who found a way to make this trip happen for me quickly and is taking vacation days to watch the kids while I'm gone.
I'll be leaving for NYC on Monday, and the show will tape Tuesday afternoon (no word of the air date yet). And, to make this trip even better, I get to take one of my very favorite friends, Katie. I knew she would fully appreciate my excitement. Plus, we never get to go on trips by ourselves! Here we are this past December when we went to New York for a Kentucky basketball game with the husbands:

Not only do we get to see Nate, but I'm just as excited (well, almost) to meet all of the other design bloggers that will be there. I'm warning you now, there will be lots of pictures to come.
