Prettying Up My Printer Stand

When it comes to designing, I'm not big on cords, equipment and things you actually have to have for a functioning office (or so my husband tells me).  However, since a printer seems to be necessary, I decided to make this little corner less of an eye sore by painting a faux bamboo nightstand and creating a fabric covered inspiration board.

I'm ashamed to say this is what I've been using as my printer stand:

I found this little nightstand on Craigslist and decided to put it to good use with a couple of coats of white spray paint:

The little drawer is perfect for paper and I store our mail in the IKEA box underneath.

I ended up with two smaller IKEA bulletin boards which I covered in black and white striped fabric (also from IKEA).

Tomorrow--I'm finally ready to show you the rest of my office so be sure to check back.
