Kindergarten: It's Here

No design talk around here today.  We've got bigger and better things going on in our house.  The first day of kindergarten has finally arrived.  Seems like only a few months ago, they handed this sweet boy with big brown eyes to me in the hospital.

Give me a week, and I'm sure I'll be a pro at this school thing.

Check back Monday for a fun, vintage jewelry giveaway.  Happy Friday!

  1. aaw.... mine went off to kindergarten for the first time on the bus yesterday. i cried. i kept myself and my littler one busy all day so i didn't think about my first baby, my son, being in a big new school and finding his way around. he got off the bus with a huge smile and had a wonderful day- yours will, too!

  8. mine started on Monday and I'm still sad about it. I was walking him to school this morning thinking, "how weird that just 4 years ago, he was learning to walk. Today he's walking to school"

  15. Emily, Aaaah it is a bittersweet morning. I remember crying and wondering what would I do with my time. It took me about 3 weeks and then I had it down like a pro. I would go to Tarjay without children get a diet soda and just sonder up and down the aisle. Pretty fun once you get the hang of it. Kindergarten is the best age ever!! Kathysue

  16. I also cried. It was a very long time ago (she's 24 now) but I remember it like it was yesterday. It was great fun though too. Good luck to both of you!
