I looked back through some of the emails I had received from her and found it interesting that this was the last line of the last email she sent to me a few weeks ago:
"But you know, life is more than just pretty stuff (and I know from reading your blog that you totally agree). And quite frankly, the most beautiful things in any house are the people who live there and choose to visit :)

ReplyDeleteSuch a sad loss. Marija looks to have been well and truly loved, both in real-life and in the blogosphere. Her husband's tribute to her was heartbreaking in its beauty and poignancy. Even though it was cut short it's wonderful that she lived such a lovely life and touched so many people in such a positive way. May she live on in their wonderful memories.
