I snapped some updated pictures of our family room yesterday for a guest post I'm doing next month, and thought you might enjoy seeing them. (It was a rare moment. House was quiet; toys were swept quickly out of camera view. . . )

Love the colors, so rich looking! I do think we have identical mirrors, the sunburst? I found mine years ago and have painted it white...love yours!! Janell
So beautiful and serene. It is all so beautifully put together. Love your bookcases too. I have similar ones in a dark stain and have been wanting to paint them white with a blue back, I am now convinced to go ahead and paint!
Love, love, love your style! My husband often threatens to take a photo of the unstaged areas of my house and do a post on my blog...I would be mortified, lol. Angex
Thank you for sharing those pictures of your beautiful room. Could you please tell me a little more about the lamps on the sofa table? It looks like this table is in the center of the room so how are they plugged in? thank you
I just found your blog yesterday (I can't believe I didn't find it before this) and spent about 2 hours going through your posts last night. Your living room is beautiful and will serve as inspiration in my new house. I also called my sister (who lives in Huntersville, NC) and she already knew about your blog so I scolded her for not telling me about it earlier. Thanks!
Your comments make my day! If you have a question, I'll try to answer in the comment section by the end of the day. Or, you can email me at emily@emilyaclark.com.
