We had lots fun with our company this holiday weekend (my aunt, uncle, cousin and her husband). Saturday, the "girls" (minus the baby) spent the day shopping in our little downtown, just outside of Charlotte. I brought my camera along so that I could give you a little tour as well.
Happy Memorial Day!
Great pictures! Love the train and coloured chairs. Glad you had a lovely Memorial Weekend! Will

Emily,
ReplyDeleteI have read your blog for a while now, and I didn't know you live in Belmont! I live in Gastonia... we are practically neighbors. It's so funny to me to start reading a blog and have no idea where the blogger lives, only to find out she's about 10 miles away!
Love your blog!

Very Charming I get to visit North Carolina in June and I am so excited to go cross country to your beautiful part of the country. Being from Calif it is such a treat for me to visit the south, Happy Memorial day, kathysue
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty place. I really appreciate this post as a very good friend left New Zealand to live in Charlotte and it's lovely to see what some of the area looks like where she is. Thanks so much Emily.

What a pretty town - I love the trunks on the trolley at the train station and the vintage chairs in sherbert colours. I think it is such fun to get a glimpse of life in other places, so thanks for the tour.

You could sell photos online of your quaint little town. It looks like it would be a town full of instant friends!
ReplyDeleteWhat a charming town! Kind of reminds me where I grew up. I always referred to it as Pleasantville.

How cool!! I would kill to live in such a cute little town! The older I get, the more living in a small town appeals to me.
