No design advice, just a fun story :)
My brother and sister and her family all live in Nashville, but their homes were thankfully not affected by all of the recent flooding. However, they've both been helping with the relief efforts and on Friday, my brother and his coworkers were dismissed from work early so they could volunteer.
While he was working, he looked over and told the guy next to him that he looked alot like Luke Perry, to which the guy replied "that's because I am Luke Perry." Nice.
Do you know how many Wednesday nights I spent in the nineties with Dylan McKay? Yes, 90210 took a big chunk of my life so I felt I had to share this story.
And, I'm thinking I should start volunteering . . .

I wasn't into 90210 back then. More like Saved by the Bell and Full House (yeah I'm young)! But, I do know who luke Perry is and was! Yup, Dylan was a hottie, but of course I couldn't say that in the '90s. I was barely a teen!
ReplyDeleteCool story! And cool of your bother to volunteer:-)
Oh, I'm on your blog from my cell phone and when I got to the picture of your head on your brothers body I thought "is she pregnant?" But then I quickly realized what you had done to the picture! I can not stop laughing at myself! I tell ya, it must be the rub on poly;-)
It just goes to show... it DOES pay to volunteer!!
ReplyDeleteHow cool ~~
Before reading all the way through, I was thinking to myself...he looks like Luke Perry. Yes, see you should start volunteering.

ReplyDeleteOMG - wonderful story! I feel the same way about Luke Perry. If he or Rick Springfield were volunteering to dig ditches I would get myself there in a jiffy!
