ReplyDeleteI would never choose the pattern on those chairs, but it totally works in the room. Sometimes you really have to have the ability to see in your mind's eye how everything will look put together.

Intimidating topic! I struggle because I love pattern, so I usually pick one out too early rather than starting with safe neutrals, and then I'm stymied regarding what could possibly go with that rug/duvet/chair/whatever I picked out first. Thanks for the helpful insights! I'm definitely going to try to apply them.
