Today, I am going to try and show alot of self-restraint by stepping away from the computer so I can get a few of my 101 projects done. First item of business: to finish painting these chairs white and to recover the cushions. I'm hosting a little party Friday night and at this rate, my guests are going to fall through the chairs when they try to sit down :)
Nothing like having company to get you motivated.

Good to know I'm not the only one that has a hard time pulling myself away from the computer. I'd could read blogs all day! Good luck with getting your projects done!

Sometimes it is hard to get motivated! Can't wait to see the finished chairs.
ReplyDeleteLooking good so far...what fabric will you be using? Yes, company arriving can be great motivation!
ReplyDeleteGo for it Emily, they will look amazing!
ReplyDeleteThose look great!! I cant wait to see them all finished...and I company is always a great motivator. {haha}
ReplyDeleteI Love the french lines of those chairs! I can't wait to see them finished! I always wait til the last minute to finish a project. I think its the pressure of having to get it done that helps me finish!
ReplyDeleteNothing like having a guest stay in my home in order to motivate me to get the little things done. I don't think what you are doing to your chairs is a little thing because for me it would be a huge project. I just posted today on painting something white and it was a little project but I am just not a very good DIYer. Happy Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteIt might be kind of funny to watch them fall through the chairs! However I'm sure they will look beautiful with seats!
ReplyDeleteSo true!! Seems like the only time I get anything done anymore!! The chair looks like it's off to a gorgeous start!!

ReplyDeleteCompany has the same motivational influence on me too.

I'm pretty sure I only complete design projects when I have company coming. I can't wait to see the finished result!
ReplyDeleteIt's so true... Having a party really makes you get things done around the house :)
