With My Morning Coffee. . .

In a perfect world, my kids would sleep in until 10:00 every day of their spring break this week, and I would wake up (completely rested) around 8:00, wander into this room, sit at this table, drink coffee and read blogs for two hours straight.

Okay, now back to reality. . . .I think I hear it calling now.

  6. What an amazing sounding fantasy, one which I know my two kiddies won't cooperate with either :) Enjoy your day regardless and here's praying you get a little break for "mommy time" in the midst of kid-busyness!

  7. Good luck with that fantasy!! My kids awake at 6 or earlier, vacation or no vacation...I can count on one hand the times they have slept in. On those occasions I got quite nervous and had to keep checking in on them. Enjoy your spring break! Janell

  8. Don't you just love that room? The yellow chairs? The big ol windows? Your kids sleeping in?? I'd hang with you in that room.
p.s. Kids crack me up, they spend the first part of their childhoods greeting the day at dawn, and then the second part sleeping well into the afternoon. Jealousy. That is the emotion I am feeling.
