Easter Inspiration

Easter is one of my favorite holidays, but to be honest, Easter decorating scares me a little.

You know what I mean.

So, to inspire the skeptic in me, here are a few Easter/Spring decor ideas that I do, in fact, like.

How do you feel about Easter decorating?

  1. That first image is perfection (maybe I should say the second one - not the scary outdoor one)! I've done very little decorating this year, but looking at those images, I wish I had done more!

  2. love the flower pics...the pink tulips, especially. i am printing out the picture and bringing it to my florist! thanks for the inspiration. as far as easter decorating, I fill apothecary jars and keep in my kitchen...easter grass and chocolates. that's about it....the kids love it!

  6. oh, thank GOD!

for a hot minute I thought you were extolling the virtues of the first photo! LOL!

I think Easter/Spring decorating is lovely (in the other photos), though I admit to not doing much with it other than stocking the house with lots of hyacinth plants.

  9. For me, Easter decor is like Thanksgiving decor: so easy to veer into tacky. That said though, the best course is seasonal flowers/centerpieces and I absolutely love the tulips. And that green tablescape is divine! -- Martha, I presume?

  14. I was down South and some of the "yards" were decked out for Easter. They gave me a chuckle, especially the bunny rigged of pots sitting on a bench. Just sorry I did not take a snap. Personally, I like simple decorations. An Easter Lily for the purity and the scent.
Some tulips, and some eggs dyed in pretty shades.
    Call me old fashioned.
