Simple Silouette Project AND Give Away Winners

It's no secret that silhouettes have been popping up everywhere in design lately.

These were made by my mom for my nephew's nursery.  I tell her she should be selling these on Etsy!

It's also no secret that silhouettes can be pricey, if professionally done.  Always on the lookout for free a bargain, I found this link on Caroline Simas' blog Designing for the Soul.  You can make a free silhouette of your "virtual" family.

After some copying/pasting/cropping, I came up with this one.  My fun and free family silhouette:

I really like the way this looks on our shelves mixed in with other black & white family photographs.  I also used this site to make some cute gift cards for the kids:

And speaking of my blog friend Caroline Simas', we have two winners from the Multiple Blessings give away.

The winner of the tea towel is Kirsten Sue of 6th Street Design School.

And, the Happeez clips go to Suzie Button of Suzie Button Creations.

Winners were drawn randomly from 21 eligible comments.  Thanks for participating!

Kirsten and Suzie, please email me with your contact info.  Many thanks to Caroline for this great give away and for sharing her art studio with us.

  5. Too cute! Another inexpensive silhouette option is Miss Crowland on Etsy:

She did a great silhouette of my dachshund (complete with antlers!) that I ended up using for my Christmas card. Best of all, she gives you the pdf, which you can reprint as much as you like, in whatever size you like!

  12. Thankyou for such good resources. I am doing my playroom for the kiddos and I am going to use their silhouettes in there. I know about some of the resources but not all of them. I have a file just for silhouettes, I am a little obsessed with them. Great post!! Kathysue
