My sister recently asked for help with redecorating her living room. Although we haven't gotten very far in the process, I couldn't wait to share this dresser-turned-TV console makeover with you. I found this piece on her local Craigslist in Nashville and knew all of the carved detail made this one a keeper.
And, after a couple of coats of Vine Green by Benjamin Moore, it's now a bright, modern focal point for the room.
I'm convinced bright colors are the easiest way to revive a piece that's day has passed. And, on this piece, I love how you now see the detailing around the pulls in the middle.

ReplyDelete1FunkyWoman: She sanded only the top and then primed the whole thing. She used 3 coats of the green.
