Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

Thought I would share an idea board that I recently came up with for a friend with a decorating dilemma. The problem? A narrow living room with a long, blank wall. The solution? Create a focal point with a big storage piece and some beautiful mirrors.

If you have one of those long, narrow living rooms, you already know how difficult seating can be. Fortunately, she already had her eye on a sectional, which worked perfectly in this room. But, my favorite part is the cathedral mirrors I found here. You can buy them individually or group them together for impact, and they double as pretty artwork.

Some similar mirrors in other spaces that I think are just beautiful:

Love the weathered look of these:

Have a great Monday. Hope your team won last night! I'm still trying to figure out who played :)

  6. I love the mirrors you've selected -- not only are they pretty, but they'll create a lot of depth in a narrow room. Great job!

  7. Looks great, I love those mirrors too. Did you get my e-mails about the bedroom? I just wanted to make sure, my e-mail gets rejected by a lot of systems! (I have no idea why either)
