To-Do List for 2010: My Home Office

It's bad. It's really bad. I'm not even sure I should show you since I do, afterall, use this blog to promote my design business. Well, I guess it will make for one dramatic "before" picture anyway:

You can see who has taken over. . .

When we were considering buying our home, this little space, complete with a small walk-in closet, called to me. It was alone, in the end of the house, downstairs, and far away from the madness. Or so I thought. I envisioned this being my little retreat where I would stay busy and be super productive. Instead, it has become the catch all for everything I wasn't sure what to do with. Oh, and it's also our guest bedroom (once we break out the aero bed). Told you it was bad.

It has taken me over a year to even think about decorating this room because I seem to have a little case of "design ADD" when it comes to this room. I love so many different styles of offices and have clipped so many pictures with so many different color schemes, that I would just get completely confused and frustrated. However, with a new year comes a new determination to focus. So, I'm making a plan and will be sharing it with you in the next week.

In the meantime, a gallery of offices that I love--to hopefully get your mind off that first picture I posted. . .

  3. Yay for office makeovers! Does that collection of pictures mean we can look forward to seeing a lot of bright colors and a white desk? Can't wait to see! I'm painting my BLACK WALL this weekend. Ooo exciting.

    Cheers,
