NYC Trip Photos

Thought I would share a few pics from our trip last week. I didn't get pictures of one of my favorite things we did; we took one of the double-decker bus tours and went on the holiday lights tour at night. We got to look into many of the windows of the ritzy apartments that run in front of Central Park (our tour guide said Sting and Madonna are among the residents). The glimpses we caught were beautiful--lots of big art, beautiful lamps, and huge photo gallery walls. Wonder if they have apartment tours. I'm so nosey when it comes to seeing how other people live!

The husband and I looking like the tourists we were in Times Square.

I thought this was a really neat ad campaign for Target featuring the 12 days of Christmas, also in Times Square.

The store windows were amazing. How cool would it be to design these for your job???

Juicy Couture:

And, I took this picture of a Macy's window to show my friend Rachel that she is, in fact, ahead of the fashion curve w/ her sequin shoes :)

I wish my house looked like this; the inside of Macy's felt so "Christmas." It just made me want to buy something (I guess that's the point).

And, one of my favorite sites--the Rockefeller tree:

Oh, did I mention the "reason" for our trip was to watch my husband's beloved Kentucky Wildcats play at Madison Square Gardens? (They won, btw.)

This was one of the highlights for me; I love a celebrity sighting! Michael Douglas sat in the lower section in front of us. Unfortunately, Catherine wasn't with him.

We had a great time. Thanks to our friends Rich & Katie for making it so much fun!

  1. Great pictures!! It's fitting that the mannequins and I not only have the same shoes, but the same skin tone as well. :)
